In order to move away from purely the events of those impacted by the Holocaust, I would like students to analyze the events occurring in the war outside of the concentration camps.

Hook: Students will spend the first three minutes of class writing a stream of conscience of all they know about their individual.
Using the Three-Step-Interview, students will interview one another about the lives of their individual. They will speak from the perspective of this individual.
Students will use a blog to create the journal of their individual.

Hook: I will put propaganda posters around the classroom and act as though I agree with the propaganda on the posters. I will ask students to walk around and view the posters, then ask for opinions from each student.
They will work in Numbered-Head-Together groups to discuss the issues with the posters and the opposing ideas they can offer. We will decide how we can change these perspectives.
The technology piece will be a Glogster Poster representing their individual.

Students will know that there are multiple ways of viewing the multiplicity of information regarding the Holocaust.
Students will apply the information they have learned or created about the specific chosen individual, then createa Glogster collage pertaining to the individual.
